Information about Alcudia Alcudia is a Spanish town in the Balearic Islands. It is the most important tourist center in the North of the island of Mallorca and with the largest resort for families. Most hotels are located in Port d ' Alcúdia and Platja d ' Alcúdia along the 14 km of beach that extends to Can Picafort. Alcudia's historic centre is well preserved with old houses dated in 13? century and is surrounded by medieval walls. The ancient city is located about 2 miles from the port. I have kicked ourselves since travelling in Alcudia by car or RV, they can take the ferry that operates daily from Barcelona, Denia and Valencia to Mallorca. In the summer months there is also a ferry from Barcelona in alcudia with Balearia. The crossing takes 7 hours, but generally by fast ferry takes 3 hours Sun.
