Information about Rosyth
Rosyth is a town located on the Firth of Forth, Scotland, less than five kilometers from the center of Dunfermline. According to a 2008 statistic, the town has a population of 12,790 inhabitants.
Founded as a garden city it was built starting in 1909 to be part of the port city of Dunfermline. Currently, there is the only direct ferry service between Scotland and mainland Europe, reactivated in May 2009 by Norfolkline. The town of Rosyth is now connected to that of nearby Inverkeithing, separated only by the M90 motorway. The city is also served by the Fife Circle Line.
