Virtu Ferries - Ferries from Sicily to Malta

The shipping company Virtu Ferries has daily connections between Sicily and the island of Malta since 1988, through a fleet of catamarans, that get to the Port of La Valletta in about 90 minutes . From Sicily departures are possible from the port of Pozzallo (Ragusa) and, via bus service, also from Catania (112 km north of Pozzallo).

With a length of almost 70 m, the catamaran Maria Dolores, the largest of the fleet, carries up to 600 passengers, from 65 to 95 vehicles, including cars/trucks/caravans/trailers, performing more than 500 round-trips every year between Valletta and Pozzallo.
