Information about Naxos Naxos is the largest (428 km²) of the Cyclades, Greek islands located in the Aegean Sea. It is part of the Prefecture of the Cyclades which, together with the Dodecanese, is in turn part of the Periferiadell'Egeo Meridionale. Its largest city and capital is Chora which has 12,000 inhabitants. The most important villages are Filoti, Apiranthos, Tragea, Koronos, Sangri and Apollonas. Naxos is a well-known tourist destination with several easily accessible archaeological sites. It has many beaches considered very beautiful by tourists such as Sant'Anna, St. Procopius, Alikos, Kastraki, Mikri Vigla, Plaka and St. George, most of which are located on the west side of the island. It is the most fertile island of the Cyclades and inside it rises Mount Zas (1004 m).
Information about Paros Paros or Paros is one of the largest islands in the Cyclades archipelago, located in the Aegean Sea, famous for a particular variety of white marble (called pario marble) and to be home to the poet Archilochus. From the administrative point of view it constitutes a commune of the periphery of the Southern Aegean (peripheral unit of Paros). The main city is Paroikia.
