Ferry to Chania (Crete)

Information about Chania Chania is a city on the north-west coast of the Greek island of Crete. It is famous for its 14th century Venetian harbor, narrow streets and seaside restaurants. At the mouth of the port stands a 16th century lighthouse that denotes Venetian, Egyptian and Ottoman influences. Just opposite, the Nautical Museum presents ship models, as well as nautical themed objects and photographs. The former monastery of San Francesco houses the Archaeological Museum of Chania.
